You can buy this cabochon as it is for your jewelry-making supply. If you are not a jeweler, I can easily make it into a custom pendant or charm by adding findings for you.
Select the option above, if you'd like me to make it into a pendant!
All my cabochons are backed in hard, black epoxy for stability and strength.

In the 1960's, there were two peaks some miles apart located near the Kingman Mountain, which yielded fine turquoise: Ithaca Peak (see Kingman) and Turquoise Mountain Peak. Then in the 1970's this mine closed. Turquoise Mountain turquoise from the 1970's is light-to-high blue with both webbed and non-webbed matrix. "Birdseye" describes stones from this mine that show areas of light blue circled with darker blue matrix, resembling the eye of a bird. Even though this peak is part of the Kingman Mine, it is considered a "classic" mine in its own right because the turquoise is so different in appearance. This stone exhibits a beautiful range of color from pale blue to lime green in one piece that makes it a sought-after turquoise. Today, the Kingman Mine is operating again, specifically within Turquoise Mountain peak. The Turquoise Mountain turquoise that is being excavated from this site looks significantly different from the 1970's stones, being lighter blue to green in color, with primarily non-webbed matrix. Turquoise Mountain remains highly collectible and is easily distinguished from other stones coming from the Kingman mine.

Yes, I do custom orders! Click on the Custom Order Request link on the home page or in any one of my listings. I'll let you know if I have those stones. I have LOTS of inventory but not all of it is listed so it's very possible that I may already have what you are looking for.
With any custom request, please provide exact dimensions (length, width, thickness and shape). Pictures are encouraged and welcomed as it makes the custom cutting process much easier.
Yes, all my cabochons are american-made. A majority of my stones are mined in the American West--Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, etc. I cut all my stones in my home shop here in sunny Florida.
My stones are very sturdy. They are all backed with a hard black epoxy that increases their strength and stability, but they will crack and break if dropped on a hard surface such as tile or concrete. They are very tough when it comes to setting and bezeling them but don't play catch with them ;)
Yes, I can cut different shapes than those I have listed. Please click the Custom Order Rquest link on the home page or in any listing. Not everything is cuttable although I can generally make it work. I will let you know if I can do it and then give you an estimate on the project. For totally new shapes, there WILL be an additional "lapidary design fee" of $50 on the order. Sketches, drawings or pictures are encouraged. But exact dimensions are a must.
No, I do not do silversmithing. I do no bezel, inlay or solder silver or gold. But I do know many fine silversmiths who would like to help you with your silversmithing needs. Message me and will provide you with some names.
Yes! I have a huge inventory from years of stone cutting. Not all of it is posted in my store. Often I have more than one of the cabochons you are looking for.
Since we are dealing with natural rock they will not be exactly identical in color or matrix, but I can generally get pretty close. I do however have the same shapes in many different, stones colors and sizes.
If I don't have more in stock, I can generally cut what you want but for new cuttings I require a $60 minimum order.
Just click the Custom Order Request link, explain what you want with dimensions, stone type and look and I will give you a price quote.
Yes! I can make any of my stones into a pair of earrings or pendant. All of my shaped cabochons have this as an option for an extra fee.
If you wish to have a standard cabochon (square, oval, triangle, circle, etc.) made into jewelry, you would have to click the Custom Order Request button in the listing. I would then be able to give you a price quote.
Pair of earrings: Additional $25 (2 stones drilled with sterling silver eyehook, bail and french ear wires)
Pendant: Additional $15 (1 stone drilled with sterling silver eyehook and bail)
